Following My Folly

In 2011, I donated my car and pledged not drive for ONE YEAR while helping my community and inspiring others to drive less and bike more, with nothing less than a Colorado-built, styled to the max, commuting marvel.

From 2013 and beyond, I discuss bikes, bedlam, beer and beautiful adventures- plus the occasional rant.

I'm the New Belgium Brewing Company's 2011 Tour de Fat "Car for Bike" trader in San Diego, CA.

This may have been a little expensive for me but I figure this: having unlimited access to bus, trolley, light rail for 30 days is my mini insurance policy should I get stranded with a major bike malfunction, need a little break after long work days or I’m injured. This way, I have a back up plan without worrying if I have correct change. @sandag @sdmts www.sdmts.com
